If keeping entering password after you wake up your computer annoys you this quick tip is just for you. And you have to use a Windows 8 computer to take advantage of it.
Here is how:
Press Win + I to bring up the charm bar and choose PC Settings at the bottom.
Click or Tap Users from the left, and click Change button in the Sign-in options section. By default, it’s set “Any user who has a password must enter it when waking this PC”.
A warning message will prompt up.
Once OK is clicked, it shows something like this:
From now on, you will go straight to your computer without entering a password after you wake up a sleeping computer. But I will have to warn you that unless you are the only one using your computer DON’T do it.
